surf bagel is the artist alias of Santa Cruz-local Adam Kagel, who’s built a six figure following on TikTok by posting mesmerizing guitar loop covers of his favorite songs. Born in the pandemic, Adam’s artist project combines his two passions of surfing and music; sonically, by blending his viral guitar instrumentals with classic lofi production; and visually, by building a world that captures the culture of his hometown: appreciating nature, the ocean, and of course, surfing.
