(Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Shinsuke Kato) is proud to announce that its art initiative MEET YOUR ART— which develops impactful new business IP in the arts while expanding opportunities for people to engage with art and artists—has been awarded the Grand Prize at the Mécénat Awards 2025, organized by the Association for Corporate Support of the Arts (Kigyo Mécénat Kyogikai). The Grand Prize recognizes the single most outstanding initiative among all award recipients.
The Mécénat Awards were established in 1991 by the Association for Corporate Support of the Arts to recognize outstanding mécénat activities—efforts to build a richer and more fulfilling society through arts and culture. The awards honor corporations, corporate foundations, and consortia based in Japan, with recipients selected through deliberation by a panel of experts. This year, from among 177 eligible initiatives, one Grand Prize and five Excellence Awards were presented.

MEET YOUR ART was launched in December 2020 as a project aimed at creating impactful new business IP in the field of art while expanding opportunities for people to engage with art and artists. It began with a YouTube program dedicated to contemporary art and has since broadened its activities across multiple domains. In 2022, the project introduced the MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL— now one of Japan’s largest art and culture festivals—bringing together diverse cultural spheres such as music, food, fashion, and lifestyle, all centered around art. The 2025 edition of the festival attracted 50,000 visitors over four days. In November 2023, WALL_alternative, a permanent art space operating exclusively at night, opened with the goal of providing new ways for people to experience art beyond existing frameworks. In recent years, MEET YOUR ART has also collaborated with a wide range of public and private partners to promote the value of art and artists more broadly. Its multifaceted activities have been widely recognized, earning certification as This is MECENAT 2024 and This is MECENAT 2025. *1

This year, MEET YOUR ART received the Grand Mécénat Award in recognition of two key achievements: first, for “its unique approach to supporting young artists by leveraging its business expertise and expanding the reach of contemporary art through the synergy of online and offline initiatives”; and second, for “its strong potential to establish new frameworks and trends within Japan’s art industry through growing collaborations with government agencies and corporations.”
Moving forward, Avex Creator Agency will continue to build on its accumulated expertise and leverage synergies with the Avex Group and a wide range of partners to further develop MEET YOUR ART into one of Japan’s leading art initiatives. The MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL is one of Japan’s largest cross-disciplinary art festivals, created to foster intersections across diverse fields by bringing together art, music, food, fashion, and lifestyle under one roof. In October 2025, the fourth edition—MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025—was held under the theme “Rediscovery.”

■ Overview of WALL_alternative
Opened in November 2023 in Nishi-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, WALL_alternative was created as a unique cultural hub centered on art. Designed to foster organic interaction among diverse people and cultures, the space aims to spark new creative movements.
In addition, WALL_shinjuku, a collaboration gallery with Lumine Co., Ltd., opened in August 2024, followed by WALL_okinawa, an art space launched in March 2025 in partnership with Kato Pleasure Group’s GLAMDAY STYLE HOTEL & RESORT OKINAWA YOMITAN.
