Avex USA Inc. (Headquarters: California, U.S.A., CEO: Naoki Osada, hereinafter referred to as "AUI") has made a strategic investment in S10 Entertainment (Headquarters: California, U.S.A., Founder & CEO: Brandon Silverstein, hereinafter referred to as "S10"), a U.S. management company.
AUI has been promoting its 3 businesses: music publishing, label, and corporate venture capital in the United States. Through this investment, AUI enters into a new management business that will expand its overseas business portfolio, accelerating Avex Group's globalization and its managed artists' overseas presence.
S10 is a rising reputable management company that has garnered much attention in the U.S., with a track record that has led Myke Towers, Normani, and Anitta to become global hit artists. Founder and CEO Brandon has been recognized as one of the most influential young entrepreneurs in the U.S. music industry today, receiving the 2023 "Power Players' Choice Award" from Billboard magazine. S10 was co-founded with Roc Nation, a major U.S. management company that includes 24-time Grammy Award-winning artists Jay-Z and Rihanna, and has been achieving rapid growth in recent years by leveraging its business foundation.
AUI and S10 have established solid relationships and track records through various collaborations, including music publishing joint-venture with many global hitmakers such as Harv (Justin Bieber's "Peaches ft. Daniel Caesar, Giveon"), Jasper Harris (Tate McRae's "greedy"), and GENT! (Doja Cat's "Agora Hills"). Building on its long-standing cooperative relationship with S10, AUI has made this strategic investment with the intent of further growing S10's management business and creating collaborative synergies in global artist development.
