Human Rights Initiatives and Commitment

1.Basic Principles

The Avex Group’s corporate philosophy is as follows: “Making impossible entertainment, possible. We believe in your abilities, uniqueness and creativity in building a future that is exciting and world changing.” Guided by this philosophy, our mission is to seek out and cultivate new talent, then work with that talent to nurture it and foster new feelings and sympathies among viewers throughout the world, all the while believing in our artists' multifaceted creativity.

A consistent principle across our corporate philosophy and sustainability policy is that we place the highest importance on “people” in order to provide sustainable entertainment. The inspiration and connection we deliver are directed to people—our customers (fans)—and entertainment itself is also created by people, including artists, creators, and employees. Furthermore, one of our corporate priorities is to nurture the next generation of talent. As a company that places strong emphasis on the role of people, our entire Group is committed to raising human rights awareness and promoting initiatives that respect and protect them.
